Dr Garcia was born in Cuba, and graduated from dental school in 1994 at Superior Institute of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, Faculty of Stomatology with a degree of Doctor in Stomatology.
She was titled with the Gold Seal and Honors. Dr. Garcia came to the United States in 1998 with the dream of becoming a doctor in her new home, the United States.
Before she was allowed to embark on her journey, while raising her family, she became a hygienist and worked for 11 years as a Hygienist in a private practice in Orlando, Florida. She then decided to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor in the US. She attended, and graduated at University of Illinois at Chicago as Doctor in Dental Surgery in 2013, and she was awarded with the 2013 Lina K. Tharp award for “Compassion in providing oral health care to the patients”.
Dr. Maritza Garcia is an active member of ADA, as well as the FDA. She has been giving continuous dental care in all dental fields to the Orlando population since she graduated. She meets gold standards of care and offers to the patient more of a “within family” environment. She and her staff will do everything to make your dental experience personalized and unique.
